My freshman year of highschool a movie about a pandemic called Contagion came out. One character was a Public Health Service Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. When I saw that I thought "I want to do that." Here I am an Environmental Health Officer in the Navy doing that.

I got back a couple weeks ago but realized I forgot to post about it. Finished my first deployment in Jordan! It was a very interesting and valuable learning experience and got to work with some incredible people. Even got to go to Petra!
