@MarcusduSautoy Well, when I told my son (11) about how you linked laziness with shortcuts & how laziness could be what gives humans a 'superiority' over machines, his reaction was: "See now, Mum, why it's clever that I don't tidy up my room? It's a shortcut to play-time!"
