Over the years, I have invested a pretty significant amount of time and money into LaDS because I genuinely believed in the quality of their storytelling, characters, and long-term vision for the game. I have always been happy to support this work financially because I trusted the direction of the development team.

When Valko was revealed, I was genuinely thrilled. He represented exactly the kind of love interest I had been hoping to see- his design, personality, and apparent role filled a niche that the current love interests do not. I was already planning for him to become one of my mains, and I had every intention of supporting his future content.

Instead, the entire launch was overturned because of loud bad faith accusations. As someone who has invested so heavily in this game, this has seriously damaged my trust.

While I understand that difficult circumstances may have arisen, especially with bad faith players and smear campaigns that have misconstrued the character's presentation, 6.0 has only made it harder for me to trust the game's future. The absence of the anticipated main story update, the reports of altered or removed content, and the broader uncertainty surrounding the game's direction have left me questioning whether the experience I invested in is still the one the developers originally intended to create.

I also want to address the compensation that has been offered. I do not feel that one premium wish ticket per day adequately addresses the concerns many players have raised. The larger issues remain unresolved. There are still no meaningful improvements to long-term in-game currency acquisition, no new combat stages, and no consistent path for f2p players to continue progressing without eventually reaching a paywall or improvements to lighting.

The silence from management has also been deeply discouraging.

For many weeks now, players across every region have respectfully expressed their disappointment and asked for clarification. It has been mentally exhausting watching the community struggle with uncertainty while receiving very little communication regarding the future of a character who was already loved and didn't deserve to be the scapegoat.

I have seen overwhelming support from players asking that Valko be reinstated. I have also seen fans compile extensive documentation suggesting that some of the campaigns opposing him relied on misinformation and coordinated trolling rather than honest discussion. I sincerely hope that future decisions will be based on careful review of verified information rather than whichever voices happen to be the loudest during moments of controversy.

I wish for Valko to debut as he was originally created, without compromising the character or the story that the writers, artists, musicians, programmers, and voice actors clearly put so much care into. I want the game to remain what the developers intended to create, rather than one fundamentally reshaped out of fear.

I still believe the development team created something special, and I hope management gives them the opportunity to share that work as originally intended.

Even if difficult circumstances have delayed his release, I would much rather wait than see the character abandoned or altered after so much creative effort.

I genuinely want to continue believing in the good of this company and game- especially with how much it has done to promote Chinese culture and tradition to the masses with beautiful themes of love and strength around them. I hope, in time it can restore the trust that many longtime players have lost over the past several weeks.
