@KSBCAFC@Chris_Taylor32 8,000 x 50 = 400,000. If you think that is going to make us competitive, then you need to have another look at things. Squeezing fans is not the way to success.
@Chris_Taylor32 Part of the point I'm making is that if you want a fanbase to be the main income generator for a club at our level, you've no chance of competing with the big boys.
@Chris_Taylor32 We sold just over 8,000 adult season tickets last season, so that's an extra £400k (at best). That's absolutely nothing compared to the big budgets. We shouldn't be squeezing fans to boost the budget, we should be looking at investment elsewhere.
@Chris_Taylor32 There's absolutely zero chance the extra money we're making off charging fans £50 more for season tickets will take us to the next level in terms of competing. Telling people to put up with higher prices just comes across a bit like bootlicking.
@Chris_Taylor32 The £10 the club makes from each kit, and extra bit they're getting from more expensive season tickets are an absolute drop in the ocean when it comes to top-end budgets. If you think charging more for any of them will make us in any way tangibly more competitive, you're deluded.
@bantamsbanter Within that phase of play, anyone beyond that line is in an offside position. But the offside rule doesn't carry beyond the same phase of play. The player who received the ball is onside and then the player who scored was also onside when he touched it.
@WhiteHorseFinal It's absolutely not a widely-held opinion. Think the ovation him and the team got after the game last night is evidence of how much we think of him. He's one of only four managers to get us promoted in the last 40 years.
