"Ben Wang shines in director Will Ropp and writer Mike Scollins’ first feature, which joins BOOKSMART and EIGHTH GRADE in the pantheon of funny/heartwarming teen dramedies." — TheWrap 📰
Post-Production by Buffalo 8. 🎞️
Brian is the breakout comedy of SXSW. The film is incredibly funny while still feeling authentic and grounded. Ben Wang is a star on the rise, delivering a layered performance that explores mental health while also being genuinely hilarious. It feels like a great coming-of-age film from the 80s, but with a modern day twist. Brian absolutely deserves distribution because I can see an audience for this as it is relatable to a very wide audience. Highly recommended. #Brian #SXSW
