This holds significant meaning to Lindor, the team’s nominee the last four years. Others to win while w/ Mets: Curtis Granderson, Carlos Delgado, Al Leiter, Gary Carter. Lindor is fifth Puerto Rican to receive the award (Delgado, Edgar Martinez, Carlos Beltrán, Yadier Molina).

Aaron Ashby still wants to one day work as a starter. Even in the World Series, he is jokingly reminding people of his desire. In the meantime, he’s thriving from the bullpen with a postseason scoreless streak. He’s a prototypical Brewers success story: https://t.co/8m92PX9PmI

Could be telling quote from Scott Boras when it comes to timing on certain free agents: "For many teams, I can make an argument it’s clearly best for them to sign players currently, before the (new) CBA, than it is after ..."

From Freddy Peralta's demonstrative reactions in a dominant outing — with Steve Cohen in the house — to Junior Caminero's finger wag to the Chandler Simpson/Victor Mesa Jr. baserunning, these three scenes from ALCS Game 2 epitomize the Rays' winning ways: https://t.co/vZpnGaN8uU

It's been a long year for Nathaniel Lowe. He lost his mom in March; he still hasn't processed it. He's lived in a dozen Airbnbs. He fought for a roster spot. He got traded.

So, that signature moment in Game 1 felt pretty good. "What else can you ask for?"

MLB’s official website and club websites will again be scrubbed of player images and videos.
