Cette critique simpliste de Rousseau me rappelle celle de Karl Popper (un penseur que j’apprécie énormément d’ailleurs) envers Platon dans son livre The Open Society and Its Enemies et son soi-disant penchant pour le "totalitarisme". Est-ce que Rousseau a inspiré de très mauvaises idées ? Certainement, mais il aurait aussi été en désaccord avec la plupart de celles-ci. Toute personne intelligente qui lit son fabuleux Émile ne pourrait le résumer à un simple gauchiste. Rousseau est tout un univers.

Rep. @JosephJBarton's HR 45 passed in a vote of 205 to 129.

Seavey's Island, home of the Naval Shipyard, belonged to NH for over 300 years until it was stolen by Maine in 1997.
