@__alpoge__ I worked out an explicit 24-variable cubic-homogeneous Bass-Connell-Wright reduction of this example: G = I + H, 54 cubic monomials, det(DG) = 1, and an explicit rational collision.

Following Levent Alpöge's new counterexample to the Jacobian conjecture, I derived an explicit 24-variable cubic-homogeneous Bass-Connell-Wright reduction G = I + H.

It has 54 cubic monomials, det(DG) = 1, and an explicit rational collision. Thread:
