@JezCox Hope at least one of you has the cojones to call out Jim Ratcliffe - an immigrant living in Monaco who employs immigrants at his football club and cycling team - about his incendiary anti-immigrant comments.
@jeremycwhittle Am shocked by the silence of cycling fans/groups about this. Meanwhile, football fans, unions, anti-racism groups and politicians all condemn his comments.
@benonwine First of all, don't stereotype them as "cyclists". Some of them are dads. Some of them sons. Some of them husbands. But all vulnerable road users. Far more vulnerable than a person enclosed by metal and air-cushions. So show them a little patience, they're not breaking the law.
First visit to Hill Dickinson on Sunday. Wow! Walk from Moorfields with 92-yr-old mate was easy 25-min stroll. Acoustics inside amazing. Only downer was my block, 231, next to Unique Seats block - it was like Whack a Mole, people jumping up every five mins to go the loo.

Also includes my (now slightly out-of-date but no less prescient) column on why Ineos Grenadiers should stay clear of Juan Ayuso plus Trevor Wardโs words of wisdom on โmotonormativityโ told through the prism of new active travel measures in Arbroath and thwarted North Sea swimsโฆ
Really fantastic edition of @Cyclist magazine currently out, including superb features by @ewanswilson on Slovenia ๐ธ๐ฎ, @jeremycwhittle on his years of #TDF reporting ๐ซ๐ท, Laurence Kilpatrick on the Timmelsjoch pass ๐ฆ๐น & @willwrite4cake on his 80s ride to the Sahara ๐น๐ณ
So a victim of the Gaza genocide arrives at the gates of heaven and tells God/Allah a genocide joke.
God/Allah shakes his head and says that wasn't very funny.
"I guess you had to be there," replies the victim.
if you don't own a car, you should be allowed to use a parking-space-sized patch of street near your house for your own purposes - like a picnic bench, washing line, raised bed/planter, etc
