@3AW693 As a clinic that works with the impacts of concussion in junior sport, we also welcome the no tackling rule in line with current evidence that it should be limited under the age of 14. Surely hug and hold is a welcome alternative that helps introduce proper technique
@3AW693 The western region football league haven’t scored in under 10’s or awarded premiership points for years. It encourages kids to focus on learning the game and trying new things rather than winning and losing. They’ve got the rest of their playing careers to worry about that.
It’s Concussion awareness month so it’s fitting we share our stats from our collaboration with WJFC
It’s clear that we need more data about concussion in junior sport and we congratulate the WJFC community on leading the way in junior player welfare.

Women’s sport has been bringing communities together for generations, you just need to know where to look.
Willy Women’s Lacrosse is part of the fabric of the west, family days like today in light of the @matildas epic win demonstrate how important women’s sport is to all of us
We are proud to be working at a grass roots level with organizations such as the @wrfl_umpires to increase awareness of concussion and CTE.
We applaud the work of the @concussionfoundation and @alanpearcephd who are pushing for change to make our great game of @afl safer for all
@HobsonsBayCC we’d love to see a purpose built bike lane on the strand to ensure the health and well-being of the dog walkers, kids riding to school, families using the parks, bike riders and joggers.
