@zoemalyks_chai Perhaps you are referring to this incident. Here, the scholars interpret this to be either a recommendation, or done with knowledge of the husband's consent. The reason is that the overriding principle is already established from the Quran, so the hadith could not contradict it.
@SubboorAhmad How do you oppose the Zionist war plans exactly? With fantasies & wishful thinking?
Meanwhile, the "evil" Iranian regime opposes it with actions.
While you sit on Twitter and write sly remarks about them. Reflect on this before you turn out like the other 'Dawah Bro' shills.
@4KCoffeeNow @YasirQadhi Go ahead - consider context and put your deen into a mathematical equation to judge between better/worse.
For me, the Quran is explicit enough to dissuade me from daring to perform such an analysis.
@YasirQadhi Fear Allah. Stop bringing consequentialist reasoning into every fiqh matter. Remain principled, do not make ANY justification for the crimes of others. Claiming you are not defending them but then providing consequentialist pro/cons is embarrassing.
@shajiuddin009@Numberrr_22 If my request was unfair to start with (referencing "how does that make a difference") why waste my time with attempts at justifications in between? You've simply gish galloped after you failed to accomodate my request.
@shajiuddin009@Numberrr_22 What's the difficulty here? Referencing a past incident to teach fiqh is not equivalent to telling someone that you are currently menstruating. My request was very simple. You have failed to provide a single instance where this happened.
@shajiuddin009@Numberrr_22 Not sure why you keep dodging the matter. Isnad is a chain of narration. Do you think this is a big secret which supports your argument?
The hadith you quoted is as follows. Tell me where she announced that she is currently on her menses. She is teaching fiqh with a past example
@shajiuddin009@Numberrr_22 If it's so obvious, why are you unable to share a hadith where she announced she was on her menses?
Teaching people the fiqh of menses and announcing that you are currently on your menses are 2 completely different things.
Is it that difficult to understand?
@LiveFPLnet I think it's more exciting than uncomfortable. It's become very cheap to convert random ideas into MVPs. That can only be good for innovation.
@sidiquetzal@CoveredInWords But here it seems the argument is actually against strictness vs gentleness. Rather than memorisation vs understanding. How would Imam Malik's criticism be solved by coupling memorisation with some understanding?
