My amex cards signing bonus was 300k points ($1800) and worth even up to $15,000 with flight point transfers which is how I intend on using them anyway. 5% cashback on Costco gas, and 2% on everything at Costco (also another 2% with the executive membership). The numbers are inflated for me because I spend so much money, but even for the average person, free money is free money.
Idk why this is now a debate on Twitter, but yes using credit cards is just free money if you pay your balance at the end of the month. Ive only been building credit for about a year and ive probably gotten about $4000 in signing bonuses and cash back.
I had video on tiktok go viral, and now i have some random guy commenting everywhere saying im dropshipping, my products arnt original, and that im just selling fast fashion slop, wtf😭
If you're staring out heavier you already have more muscle underneath to cut to. Its also much easier to build muscle starting out overweight. Often very achievable to gain meaningfull amounts of muscle while in deficit which is insane. Also you can lose fat very quickly, but gaining muscle is much harder. In your first year of lifting (where most of the muscle gain happens) you'd be doing real good to gain even 15 pounds of muscle. But people can lose over 100 pounds of fat in just 6 months. Not to mention the financial factor, cutting is literally the act of cutting your diet, so less food to buy. While bulking requires more food obviously.
