“Let’s spend £4.5trillion on net zero over the next 25 years. Let’s ban new oil and gas licences in the North Sea but spaff away £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway. Let’s buy coking coal shipments from Japan but ban UK coal mining. Let’s plaster thousands of acres of farmland with solar panels but spend £50million on sun dimming experiments. Let’s give Drax an estimated £1.8billlion in taxpayer funded subsidies on top of the £11billion it has already received despite Drax burning an amount of wood equivalent to 300 million trees. Let’s give £1.5 billion of taxpayers’ money this year alone to wind power companies not to generate power from their wind turbines. And let’s spend £30billion of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines but put pensioners, farmers and the disabled into financial peril by falsely claiming there’s a £22bn black hole.”
Retweeting our letter in daylight - which is what this needs lots of. Please share widely, on here, and other platforms.
This has truly shocked us, in a sea of shocking behaviour by public institutions.
We await her response.
We in Scotland pay £311 million to the BBC for our license. We get back £91 million for Scottish productions. We're subsidising English football, cricket, English current affairs and English attitudes to the wider world. We need a Scottish Broadcaster with our attitudes.
#CitizenJournalists please give this as many reposts as you can . There is only one of me and so your action to RP speaks louder than my one voice and ensures #AllScotsKnow. Thank you all
Have I got this right-
Dr Searle had an expectation of privacy regarding the emails she sent to work colleagues using her work email, concerning an investigation and Tribunal…
But did not recognise Nurse Peggies expectation of privacy in a fucking female changing room?
Hang on.
A badge - for young people to wear, so that *strangers* can approach them, for things like ‘escorting to the toilet’ …… is this not just a way to expose young people to risk.
You ok with this @BBC? https://t.co/IMuUyuxCip
Zonal energy pricing would be unfair because energy would be more expensive in England than Scotland. Non-zonal pricing means it's more expensive in Scotland than England, but that's fair according to The Labour Party.
England will turn its attention to siphoning off Scotland's water next. Scotland is being systematically plundered, despoiled and dismantled. We urgently need to be independent.
The Scottish Government should be fighting for zonal pricing to give Scots cheaper electricity & listening to community protests across the Highlands about more wind farms than Scotland or the grid can handle.
But they're not. Why not?

Every time a Scottish household pays an electricity bill - they are paying treble of what they should pay.
That is a monthly reminder of the cost of being in the UK.
