@JoelWBerry I'm starting to use the word spectacular to describe this dumpster fire. But not in a good way of course it's just incredible to see it happen in real time.
@farmingandJesus That's what I said! One thing I'll say is this is absolutely spectacular and not in a good way. They just won't stop with the vile words and I hope it doesn't turn into something physical. But the comments I'm getting leads me to believe it will. That level of hate will manifest
This is how fallen man reasons apart from the authority of God’s Word. He looks at the created order and says, “See! It exists in nature, therefore it establishes a rule for human beings!”
When I was open-air preaching, a homosexual once argued that because dolphins engage in same-sex sexual behavior, same-sex relations must therefore be natural for human beings. The heathen was correct. Some dolphins are homosexual. But the observation does not establish the conclusion. What occurs in the animal kingdom does not, by itself, determine what is morally normative for mankind.
The same error appears in Dale’s German Shepherd analogy. Human beings are created in the imago Dei. A German Shepherd is a human-developed canine breed established through selective breeding. The fact that some canine breeds are classified by lineage does not establish that human national identity must be determined by ancestry. That conclusion simply does not follow.
Creation is not a self-interpreting moral authority. God’s revelation, not autonomous human reasoning, determines how we ought to understand His creation. As Paul teaches in 1 Cor 2:14, "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."
The problem is not observing nature. The problem is treating observations of nature as an autonomous standard by which we ought determine human morality and social order, apart from the authority of God’s Word.
Mark and avoid @dalepartridge
Give this old blog post from @JoelWebbon a read. PropheticPatriarch is exactly right. In summary, Webbon’s entire life has been seeking approval including manufacturing approval by tearing others down. This is not the kind of person who should be anywhere near the ministry.
@nosoup4knowles I keep thinking of the word spectacular for this situation. The vile Wicked comments just keep spewing forward from the CN crowd and the only thing I can think of is spectacular. I'd actually rather know about their true opinions now rather than later.
@EMFT66@TanneriteCortez@DefiyantlyFree@SlowToWrite Well we are all foreigners for one. All you have to do is go back a couple of generations. I could tell this so-called Pastor to go back to Germany which is probably where he's from just like me. I'm totally opposed to Illegal immigration and we'll see what comes of this debacle
Stunning how fast the NXR is going insane in such an obvious and self condemning way.
Slow growth including repentance and mature conduct = good.
Being driven and tossed and vacillating like a fish out of water = bad. Doesn’t matter if the fish only flops to the right.
@DefiyantlyFree It seems like they just can't stop themselves from posting these vile vile comments. They just can't stop even now. Pray for the CN crowd. In some ways I think it's good because it's exposing what they really think.
🧵🧵Hall of Shame greatest hits.
“Wherever white people live, black people follow”
“Claims to be a Christian” - he is and this could all be a paperwork issue
Everyone should go watch Samuel Seys videos and read his posts and decide for yourself who’s a Christian and who isn’t.
Coddling these people and pretending we don’t have a problem is the same as accepting this.
Know them by how vile they are.
