A handwritten note from Sonam Wangchuk, sent through his wife Geetanjali, who has shown remarkable courage and quiet dignity throughout this ordeal—even when Sonam spent more than six months behind bars on charges that ultimately couldn’t stand up in court.
Whatever your views on his demands, it is difficult to understand why a much feted Ladakhi activist who has devoted his life to the welfare of his people should be treated as if he were an ‘enemy of the state’.
Where is the current situation in West Bengal heading? Is this the West Bengal we once knew?
A cross is being removed from the roof of a place of worship while a crowd gathered below chants "Jai Shri Ram." Many people are expressing concern about the state's current law-and-order and social situation. Incidents like these raise questions about communal harmony in Bengal and whether such developments are desirable.
It is worth reflecting on the direction in which our future is heading.
@CJP_for_India He is telling that we should be happy, wait for, it 'climb' to even higher. That's 150th one even 175th. He knows the bigger the number better the visibility.
VERY IMPORTANT: Justice Madhav Jamdar of the Bombay High Court: “What is this? Are all citizens being made slaves of the Indian government… Can they not stage protests or agitate? What is all this?”. Rejects externment for raising anti govt slogans.
That what should have been a routine judicial affirmation of the constitutional right to protest now feels extraordinary says much about the times we live in. When dissent is criminalised and increasingly treated as a law-and-order problem rather than a democratic right, such reminders from the judiciary matter. Take a bow, Justice Jamdar. 👏👏
"Horse trading is rampant across Maharashtra. Opponent leaders facing FIRs are considering switching sides because there's a washing machine on other side".
— Justice Jamdar, Bombay HC
He is Public TV's Ranganna.
He took a class, in his trademark style, to BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and other BJP leaders who are blaming the Congress government over a few students missing their NEET exams.
He asked, "Where were you, Tejasvi Surya, when the NEET paper leak happened? Did you visit the families of students who died by suicide after the leak? Did you condemn it? What kind of youth leader are you?"
This video is creating a sensation across Karnataka. 🔥
🚨LoP Rahul Gandhi:
I have 10 million subscribers of YouTube, but my account is fully suppressed. If you think social media is fair and supports the opposition, you are living in another reality.
The media, social media, bureaucracy, legal system & intelligence agencies are all aligned to keep this government in power.
But this government will not survive, because it has destroyed our democracy and the future of the people of India.
After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.
Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.
Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.
Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.
When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.
Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.
Congratulations Modiji, for 12 years of turning every promise into a slogan and every slogan into a scam.

The story of 12 years of the Modi government is a tiring list of failures.
Come on, @Ram_Guha, this is a bit much. What experience did Barack Obama, a first-term Senator from Illinois, have in world affairs when he became President of the most powerful country on earth, while it was caught up in multiple global issues? For that matter, how much international exposure did the CM of Gujarat have to manage India’s International relationships? @RahulGandhi has led a national party for a dozen years. He has extensive contacts with leaders around the world and no shortage of advisers inside and outside his party. No President or PM handles crises alone; that’s why he heads a government! I think it’s time to put this overblown controversy to rest.

जेबकतरों से सावधान - आज वो CBSE के अंदर बैठे हैं। CBSE की गलती से नंबर ग़लत आए तो आपको क्या मिलता है?
एक bill:
Digital scan copy: ₹100/विषय
Re-totalling: ₹100/paper
Re-evaluation: ₹25/
My Modi will save me.
India's number-2 journalist thought that she would protect her Modi, that no one would question him and no one would point a finger at him. But things turned out the opposite.
India's number-2 journalist, Anjana Om Kashyap, is calling India's top teachers worthless __
"Useless. These YouTube teachers pick up a blackboard to get views and say or write anything; they do not have even the slightest bit of real knowledge. This is being said to people who question the government."
Mr. Modi's favorite journalist is calling Indian teachers worthless because teachers who teach on YouTube educate millions of children at a very low cost.
They constantly raise tough questions about the Modi government regarding education and the health sector-issues that teachers understand very well.
The work that should actually be done by journalists is being done by India's online YouTube teachers.
But a reporter like Anjana Om Kashyap is insulting them by calling them worthless and damaging their image.
The goal is that they should be defamed and stop speaking against the government, and instead begin praising the government like these people do.
However, Anjana Om Kashyap has picked the wrong fight this time because YouTube teachers have millions of students. Poor children, laborers' children, and students from villages who cannot afford expensive city rents can study from their homes in villages using just ₹200 worth of internet for an entire month.
She is considered one of Modi's favorite journalists and has conducted many interviews. Many BJP MPs and ministers admire her because she asks the kinds of questions that BJP and Modi supporters like.
Now almost all online teachers have started exposing the government together, one issue after another.
Paper leaks, the Indian education system, the Indian healthcare sector-teachers from every field have stepped forward to challenge the Modi government.
One thing the world knows is that no one understands government-related issues in greater detail than teachers, because teachers in every field know exactly what is happening in their respective sectors.
If all teachers enter the field together, they can challenge every move of the government.
Teachers will demonstrate the power of Digital India on YouTube, highlight the government's shortcomings, and ask tough questions of the government-the kind of work that is usually expected from journalists, but which Indian teachers have now started doing...
After NEET and CBSE comes CUET.
The Modi Government is clearly in damage control mode. The Mantri Pradhan of course has been thoroughly discredited and exposed for his incompetence, arrogance, and callousness. He is beyond saving in public estimation, and even the cheerleaders and drumbeaters are ready to cut him loose. They are now focused on salvaging the image of the Pradhan Mantri - who has been absolutely silent and indifferent to the suffering of millions of students, but is allegedly monitoring the situation closely.
Even now, however, the Modi Government is only window-dressing and PR-managing. The use of the Indian armed forces to manage the logistics of the NEET-UG exam on June 21 is only an attempt to capitalize on their integrity and efficiency. It is more for optics than meaningful change. It is clear that the NEET-UG paper leak this month happened at the level of the paper-setters and translators, not at the stage of question paper transportation. The focus should be on disrupting the NTA’s corrupt army of contractors and outsourced staff - but the Modi Government is letting them go scot-free because it is an open secret that most of them are politically connected to the RSS network.
The Pradhan Mantri-Mantri Pradhan jugalbandi is destroying the hopes and aspirations of lakhs of youth across the country. The duo has thoroughly messed up the education system, encouraged the infiltration of third-rate academics chosen by the RSS, and enabled large-scale corruption. Their new damage-control is finding no takers, because the blame for creating this chaos is squarely on these two individuals.
Rahul Gandhi blaming Prime Minister Modi for the NEET paper leak is proof that the man has no intellectual equipment left beyond foreign trips and Soros-money outrage.
Every problem in India, according to Rahul, has one answer: Modi. Paper leak? Modi. Weather changes? Modi. Congress loses? Democracy stolen. China smiles? Silence. Pakistan sponsors terror? Silence.
Rahul Gandhi shows inanity, entitlement and a frightening inability to think beyond Modi-hatred.
At some point, India must ask: does Rahul Gandhi even understand governance?
Dharmendra Pradhan's son
is studying in America, so did Nirmala's and Jyotiraditya.
Piyush Goyal's son is studying in Singapore, Anurag Thakur's son is studying in Canada.
S. Jaishankar's son is studying in the UK & even Smriti Irani (who hardly studied) sent son to study there.
Nishikant Dubey's son studied in Scotland
So why would these people bother about NEET paper leak
or CBSE scam or communal distortion of history by NCERT?
Or care about your children getting pushed around in trains and buses or even committing suicide?
Government of Hypocrites from Top to Bottom!!
