💬| Toy Story 5 co-director, McKenna Harris revealed that Taylor Swift made ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ in ONE day:
“It was like a dream come true, because for so long, in our process, we were like that might not be possible, because as you know, she’s a very busy busy lady and is doing so much with her career, while it was a wish list item for us, like ‘wow im not sure it’s gonna work out’, but the second she watched the movie, she loved it so much, and it resonated with her so much, specifically because she has a nostalgic relationship with Jessie, and grew up with these movies. She wrote the song in a DAY, it was the mist incredible feeling for us because we respect her so much and we think she is the absolute coolest, she has this big Jessie energy to me, and to hear that her as an artist loved this thing that we made and then made something beautiful in return, it’s such a wonderful gift, it’s such a blessing and we are so excited about this collaboration”
Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.
Thank you to the brilliant Andrew Stanton for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable @RandyNewman or the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you’ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it.
By we, I mean myself and my pal @jackantonoff. We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods. “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is out everywhere now. 🤠🐴

💬| Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o shares with ELLE her memories from The Eras Tour”:
“I went to the Eras Tour with Sarah Paulson. She was my date and before we went, I texted her I was like, ‘Okay, what kind of Taylor Swift fan are you? Cause there’s homework to do’, and she says ‘I’m Taylor Swift light’ and i was like ‘Okay, I’m Taylor Swift mid’ like we know but let’s learn. We did the whole bracelet thing. She was nervous, she was like ‘I’ve never been to this sort of concert before, and I’ve never been either. But at some point, I looked over her at her and she was weeping, she was like ‘this is the best day ever!’ and I was like ‘It is!’”
