And ˹remember˺ when We assigned to Abraham the site of the House, ˹saying,˺ “Do not associate anything with Me ˹in worship˺ and purify My House for those who circle ˹the Ka’bah˺, stand ˹in prayer˺, and bow and prostrate themselves. Al-Hajj (22:26)
@Kaypling@MansarayFrances Why aren’t the unpleasant decisions affecting the elites and politicians? Why must affect the average Nigerian alone? We could achieve these significant changes as long as the proper infrastructures are in place plus zero tolerance for corruption. Nothing is impossible.
@Kaypling@MansarayFrances For Nigeria specifically: tackle corruption, improve security, strengthen infrastructure, support businesses and jobs, stabilize the currency, and create an environment that attracts investment. This is the worst time to be a Nigerian!
This one weak Peter Obi. 😢
This is where human beings live in this country. Just look at what Ramin Kura IDP Camp in Sokoto looks like.💔
Is Nigeria cursed, or we are the curse?
@Kaypling@MansarayFrances P. O has got Integrity, Vision, Communication, Decision-making, Accountability, Empathy, Strategic thinking, Problem-solving, Adaptability, Team building, Emotional intelligence, Courage, Fairness, Conflict resolution. Can you list Emilokan’s own?
The Ambulances donated by Peter Obi in Anambra State, while he was the governor 14 years ago, is the same Ambulances in use till date in Anambra state.
Soludo should be ashamed of himself.
A working Nigeria is a Nigeria where every child, regardless of background, deserves a good life and a chance to thrive.
The visit of our Presidential Candidate, H.E Peter Obi, and Vice Presidential Candidate, H.E Rabiu Kwankwaso, to the IDP camp in Sokoto is a stark reminder that Nigeria has failed millions of Nigerians. We can not continue with this maladministration and clueless leadership of the Tinubu-led administration.

A leader without compassion is not a leader.
Three men seek the same office. Three different answers to the same question: where do you stand when the country is hurting?
One returned from holiday and spoke of how much he enjoyed Europe. The streets at home were flooding, prices were climbing, families were choosing between food and medicine and the story he brought back was the weather and the rest. Distance is easy. Distance does not hear the night.
Another sat in a mansion in Abuja and promised compassion. The words were correct. The setting was not. Suffering does not become lighter because it is described from air-conditioning and high walls. A promise made from comfort is still only a promise.
The third spent a night in Sokoto. He walked into an IDP camp. He sat with people who had lost homes, not talking points. Then he met the country as it actually is, group after group:
- NDC candidate and party officials
- Kwankwasiyya Sokoto
- Obidients Sokoto
- Muslim clerics
- Christian clerics
- Igbo community in Sokoto
- Yoruba community in Sokoto
- Media
- NDC Birnin Kebbi
- Students
- Strategic team
- Political associations
- Academic lecturers
No filter. No single tribe, faith, or faction. He did not summon them to Abuja. He went to them.
That is the difference between announcing compassion and practising it. One style manages the image of leadership. Another style inhabits the work of it.
Nigeria does not need another man who enjoys the view from elsewhere or who issues sympathy from a gated compound. It needs a leader who treats every community as worth the journey, who measures a night by who he sat with rather than where he slept, and who understands that unity is not a slogan, it is a schedule of meetings no one else wanted to hold.
Show up. Listen. Stay. That is the beginning of a New Nigeria. The rest is commentary.
