#OTD in 1452: Richard III was born at Fotheringhay Castle to Richard Plantagenet & Cecily Neville. He reigned from 1483-85 and was the last English King to die in battle.

On this day in 1515 Anne of Cleves was born. Anne outlived all the other wives as well as Henry VIII. #HenryVIII & #AnneofCleves were married for just over 6 months when they were formally annulled on July 9th the same year. Henry gave Anne #HeverCastle as part of the settlement.
