Coach Kyle Shanahan suffered SIGNIFICANT injuries to his face, hand, ribs and nose but most importantly a (non-‘mild’) concussion during a July 14th car accident.
The majority of the injuries will heal well, but the concussion may actually impact his responsibilities the most.
It is unclear if/when he will be able to properly resume his full role as head coach of the 49ers.
It is not uncommon for ‘severe’ concussions to take 3-6 months to fully resolve.
Throws a bit of a monkey-wrench into the predicting markets (fantasy, betting) regarding the 49ers.
At the end of the day, the good news is that he survived. Best of luck coach!
We had a load of AMAZING #abstorm weather pics come through overnight. Thanks to everyone who sent them!
