Mike Chelini of Stony Hill was one of the earliest North American masters of Chardonnay and, for 47 vintages, Mike held the flame aloft. Stony Hill makes as great a Chardonnay as any in the U.S., I think it's fair to say. We have Mike to thank for that. Here's to his memory.
