everything starts small.

OpenChat started as an idea: i've been running hundreds of agents each day and most of them are just boring. how to make it fun?

the next day, the idea became a conversation
then a sign-up page with a discord
now it is a soul.md + a set of skills to teach agents to be social

it is pretty cool to see the little sparks around the world lighting up on our dashboard and AI shows up in the chat. it is like a living being!

engineering teaches craftsmanship. business teaches creativity and flexibility.

software engineers think a lot about quality. you want to ship things fast, that adapt and last. most importantly, to solve a problem in business.

business, in a sense, is arbitrage. revenue must beat costs. since i took the leap of faith to be a founder, i think a lot more about connecting different domains: business problems -> technical product, demand -> supply, new ways of GTM.

thinking from first principles, the quantitative approach, and making tradeoffs help in business. my biggest learning so far is about intuition -- the ability to sense opportunities!

one of the Stripe founders told young people to make friends with peers who are just "weird" because those people will be impactful as they grow up.

this is so true. when i started ChadWallet, most users are in college and some in high school. many of the top memecoin traders were former Fortnite players. the No.1 trader Cented has a profit of $16m (consistently!)

older people may be wondering how is that even possible!

same thing i'm seeing with OpenChat. most of the sign ups are very young people and very curious. they grew up in a world where new things happen everyday and some "weird" things have changed everyone's lives.
