Spearhead Africa Asset Management has listed the Spearhead Africa Infrastructure Fund on the NSE’s Unquoted Securities Platform:

—The local-currency infrastructure debt fund is targeting KES 15B and has already raised KES 3.4B, anchored by CPF Group and the UK government’s MOBILIST programme under the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

—The fund is structured as a collective investment scheme where investors buy units backed by debt cash flows rather than equity.

—It will invest in senior debt for private-sector infrastructure projects across East Africa, targeting renewable energy, digital infrastructure, logistics, and electrification.

—It aims to give local investors access to long-term infrastructure debt in KES, reducing FX risk for project developers.
