A taxi driver in Spain became known for driving patients to the hospital free of charge. One day, while picking up another patient, doctors and nurses surprised him with a standing ovation and a donation in gratitude for his kindness.
Not many people know this but the symbol on Nottingham Forest's badge is an outline of Martin O'Neil's hair from when he played there.
Its often mistaken for a tree 🙄

Absolutely right.
I have a friend who's an infant school teacher in a S. London area that has a lot of deprivation. She takes 4 pints of milk in to school for the little ones who have "tummy ache" in the morning. She goes through the usual "have you been to the toilet?" type questions, but she knows that, overwhelmingly, their tummy ache is probably because they had no food the night before.
She asks if they'd like a piece of fruit, gives them an apple or a banana and a glass of milk. From her own pocket.
People decrying breakfasts at schools have no idea of the number of regions where children are literally going to bed with nothing to eat in the evening.
I don't give a monkey's about what you think about their parents. No child deserves to starve, no matter who their parents are or how they behave.
Sadio Mane, a Senegalese soccer star, earns approximately $10.2 million annually. He gave the world a rude awakenng after some fans were flabbergasted when they saw him carrying a cracked iPhone 11. His response was awesome:
"Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, and two jet planes? I starved, I worked in the fields, played brefoot, and I didn't go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools and a stadium, provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive some of what life has given me.
🗣️ "We had a good team on paper, but unfortunately the game is played on grass."
🗣️ "I wouldn't say I was the best manager in the business, but I was definitely in the top one."
🗣️ “Rome wasn’t built in a day. But I wasn’t on that particular job.”
🗣️ “Players lose you games, not tactics. There’s so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes.”
🗣️ “When my players disagree with me, we talk about it for twenty minutes and then we decide I was right.”
Remembering Brian Clough on what would have been his 91st birthday. RIP.🕊️
"Crosby was a carpenter, I was an electrician, Birtles laid carpets... He wanted all the trades for a cheap quote!" 🤣

It’s 35 years since the great Saint & Greavsie gave us their Christmas special, and it was one of their all-time classic episodes.
With Jimmy Greaves suffering from flu, they brought the Spitting Image Greavsie puppet into the studio, with Peter Brackley doing the Greavsie voice.
With loads of laughs and gags, it was an all-time classic.
RIP Lads.
Forest and Everton got little to no sympathy when they breached FFP rules and received points deductions. Why do Palace fans feel they deserve special treatment for breaking the rules and receiving the appropriate punishment? #NFFC#CPFC
As we all clamour for more signings because we need a competitive squad, a throwback to 77/78 - 11 starters, 2 spare defenders & a spare keeper. 47,000 in the ground v Liverpool & won the league & a cup! Happy days. #NFFC
It just doesn’t make any sense to jump ship to 17th place Tottenham after saying all this only 4 months ago 😂
He was nearly crying in that interview saying how much he loves us & wants more memories here
Footballers man, never get too attached - they’re all the same #NFFC
