Glad to finally share: so proud to be working with the @magnusmed team on breakthrough #neuromodulation treatment for #depression. Together we can help restore and sustain #mentalhealth.
I'll withhold the sarcasm and schadenfreude, because empathy for real people who lost money. Instead I'll just share a great piece: https://t.co/0aEHfNelwY
Very informative story on the @Todayshow featuring Dr. @NolanRyWilliams, @Stanford_BSL, talking about SAINT, a promising new, investigational treatment for major #depression. Powerful stories shared by two students treated by SAINT.

Thanks, @neurotechwriter, for including @MagnusMed in the Neurotech Leaders Forum next week! Looking forward to it, and in particular spending time talking about the need and opportunities for #neuromodulation in #mentalhealth with great folks advancing #neurotech.
Well, I can't figure out a way to tweet this without dropping an ultra-high-res photo of my face into everyone's feeds. But nonetheless - thanks @SFBIZronleuty for a great piece on @magnusmed and our breakthrough #neuromodulation tech for #depression! https://t.co/WkEwhOR6Bc
@SJohannesMD @magnusmed Thanks, @SJohannesMD, and 100% agreed. ED boarding such an enormous and important problem, and we finally might be able to do something about it.
We’ve made great strides in treating diabetes & heart disease, but the same can’t be said for illnesses of the brain—like major depression—which affects 17.3 million U.S. adults. This news about SAINT technology holds promise for so many, and couldn’t have come at a better time.
Excellent work from folks at Stanford. Can’t stress enough the importance of fMRI/MRI-guided individualized target localization in #TMS. This is such an interesting method — using the dlPFC location with functional connectivity most anti correlated with sgACC during rest.
Additionally, no severe adverse events occurred during the trial! The only side effect that approached statistical significance in the active treatment group over the sham treatment group was headache.
Encouraging data in @APAPubJournals from our double-blinded RCT evaluating Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT) for treatment-resistant #depression. After 5 days, 79% in the active group achieved remission from depression compared to 13% in sham
