Soft launch.
Situationship.
Ghosting.
Dating keeps getting new names.
But maybe the real problem is simpler:
We still don’t know how to meet people we’re actually compatible with.
Maybe dating needs better introductions.
Wingmann- Date with intent
We’ve spent so much time swiping that we started confusing dating with a game.
More matches = better chances.
More options = better choices.
Good profile = good date.
But are they actually true?
Let’s talk about the things dating apps taught us that we probably need to unlearn.
Dating apps made finding people easier.
But finding the right person? That’s still a struggle.
Is modern dating facing a people problem or a compatibility problem?
What’s the biggest dating struggle?
Modern dating starter pack:
• Says “go with the flow” (the flow = zero commitment)
• Replies like a government office
• Has “trust issues” but creates new ones
• Thinks bare minimum = premium service
And somehow… you’re the problem.
@thedatingboss That sounds neat on paper, but it skips the one thing that actually decides everything:
Timing + Intent.
You can look great, say the right things, carry all the “confidence” in the world - and it still won’t land if she’s not ready or not looking for the same thing.
Dating these days is wild.
You talk for 3 days,
share trauma on day 4,
plan a future on day 5…
…and get ghosted on day 6.
At this point, “Hey :)” feels like a limited-time offer.
