“My grandmother was like a parent to me, so this sudden farewell hurts my heart deeply and the thought of being unable to do anything made yesterday feel even harder. Thankfully, I had a long phone call with her before leaving for the European tour. When I told her about the tour, she was so proud of me and said to take care of my health and she’d see me when I returned.

I didn't know it would be our last time, but I'm glad I was able to express my heart to her then. Because MIDZY’s understood my situation I am slowly pulling myself together and trying to process my emotions. I’m determined to do my best and finish the rest of the European tour strong.

It weighed heavily on my heart that I couldn't be there to see her one last time, but I knew without a doubt that my grandmother would have told me to stay right here. My family also knows how precious these performances are, so as soon as they broke the news to me, all they said was to focus on the shows and do my best.

I want to deeply thank the Amsterdam Midzys for your understanding yesterday, and for enjoying the show with me so that I could set aside my sadness for a moment. I gained so much strength yesterday thanks to our members, MIDZY’s, and the precious people around me. I'll give it my all for the rest of the tour. Thank you so much, MIDZY’s.”
