Carney still has a 60% approval rating and the Liberals are dominating in the polls.
The lesson here is simple.
You can spend a decade completely destroying the country, tanking the economy, and replacing the native population with millions of Third Worlders, and as long as you endlessly pander to pensioners you can never lose.
Canada is the world’s first gerontocracy.
#BREAKING: Master Negotiator Mark Carney just got a great deal for President Trump on the Gordie Howe Bridge.
Carney negotiates that Canadian taxpayers pay the entire $6.4 billion and Michigan paid ZERO.
The MUPPET with the pretty resume is Canada’s saviour.
@MarkCarneyEgo
The worse Carney gets, the harder they attack Pierre Poilievre.
Mark Carney has more conflicts of interest than any Canadian Prime Minister in history.
Carney fumbled the USMCA talks... skipped key negotiations while a private citizen showed up.
Caught conspiring against Trump on his British cell phone.
Tanked trade deals because his office "wasn't ready."
Buying German subs, sabotaging Ukraine peace efforts (costing Canada auto jobs with Korea), handing another $900M borrowed dollars to Ukraine, and announcing big defence spending with no clear funding.
Plus $3B to bail out condo developers (and himself?).
Worst first-year record of any PM ever... yet the media obsesses over smearing Pierre.
Are Canadians noticing yet 😏
@BillDinYEG@sunlorrie I thought Carney was an economic genius who would out think Trump and make Trump kneel?
Or did you vote for Carney to inflame Trump and make Canada poorer?
Mark Carney has presided over the worst first year of economic growth in Canada by any prime minister since at least 1963, with real GDP shrinking by 0.5%, but 60% of Canadians think he's doing a good job of managing the economy. https://t.co/92651GNDqF
We seal envelopes not because the letter contains a conspiracy, but because the contents belong exclusively to the sender and the receiver.
The "nothing to hide" argument is pure corporate/state propaganda. Privacy isn't about hiding a crime; it's about deciding who gets access to your life. It’s a boundary of power, not a shield for guilt.
It's just a fact that Carney's popularity is thoroughly detached from anything he's done in his first year in office. In no meaningful way is Canada's economic situation "improving," and yet he is being warmly rewarded by voters for... trying, I guess? It's an odd phenomenon.
Europe passed chat control. That means that they can now (officially/legally) read your every text, scan your every photo, read every email, examine every communication, build an entire inescapable 24/7 digitally surveilled profile on you, to arrest you for sending memes while they let grooming gang members roam free. It’s a dark day for Europe and a coming soon preview for America if we allow this to happen.
Every fucking day …
Peel Regional PC Zahra Yusufzay has resolved a police discipline case stemming from an incident involving her service firearm.
Bit of a timeline -
- Dec. 16, 2024: While working in plain clothes, Yusufzay entered a fitting room at the Mango store in Square One. She removed her duty belt, which contained her loaded service firearm, spare loaded magazine and handcuffs. After receiving a work-related phone call, she left the fitting room and inadvertently left the equipment behind.
- A Mango employee discovered the unattended firearm and notified mall security, who contacted Peel Regional Police. Officers attended, treated the firearm as a public safety risk, rendered it safe and secured the equipment.
- Yusufzay later realized what had happened, contacted the store and mall security, returned to Square One and was reunited with her equipment.
- Mar. 11, 2025: She was arrested by Peel Regional Police Internal Affairs and charged with unsafe storage.
- In police disciplinary proceedings, she admitted misconduct for conduct likely to undermine public trust in policing.
She was docked 15 days.
The published disciplinary settlement does not disclose the disposition of the Criminal Code charge.
Heres the problem.
They never close out a police disciplinary matter until the criminal matter is dealt with. For a finding of guilt on ‘unsafe storage’ she has to receive a firearms prohibition. If she gets a firearms prohibition she cant even carry one at work, so they have to dismiss.
So what happened to the criminal charges?
Did they withdraw firearms charges against a serving officer so they wouldn’t have to fire her, or have they disposed of the police misconduct before any finding of criminal guilt so they wouldn’t have to fire her?
Either way, this doesn’t look good on Peel.

Fact check time.
Older data centres required massive amounts of water and took large amounts of electricity from the grid. What Alberta is building is the complete opposite.
@meta's Sturgeon Data Centre will use a closed-loop, liquid-cooled system with dry cooling that requires no operational water use for cooling. In fact, it will use less water than an average Alberta golf course.
The data centre campus will be developed under Alberta’s “bring your own power” approach. Rather than relying solely on Alberta’s electricity grid, the project will combine grid-connected electricity with generation from a new $4.6 billion private-sector funded on-site natural gas power plant, helping protect grid reliability. This will benefit electricity customers across the province by reducing transmission costs by up to six per cent on Albertans’ utility bills.
'Muhammad' has comfortably topped the list for the most popular boy name for the third year running.
You can call me Islamophobic, I really don't care.
This is awful and demonstrates the rapidly changing demographics of our country.
Only Restore Britain will fight this.
Immigration shouldn’t be allowed from the third world.
It’s not because they’re brown or whatever, it’s because they’re from objectively inferior cultures and societies that are incompatible with our own.
Not wanting people from countries that have incest problems isn’t bad.
Abolish the TFW program.
Train underemployed and unemployed Canadian youth.
Deploy better labour mobility incentives.
Start a standalone program for legitimately hard to fill seasonal agrifood, agriculture and seafood work.
Stop this abuse.
