Translation: “In three years, the transformation to ‘you will own nothing and be happy’ will be complete.”
Streaming your games means that not only do you no longer own the games you play, now you don’t even own the hardware you play them on!
Seriously, how many examples of this happening do we need for folks who don't understand how the all digital future is bad?
Unless you're perfectly okay with your purchases (not rental, not subscriptions) disappearing at any time, this should alarm you.
There seems to be a bug on Switch 2 where face paint color is getting applied to Au Ra horns, but it's subtle and it doesn't seem to happen with every face paint option.
I wouldn't be surprised if we're able to actually color them come 8.0 though

It’s baffling how video games are pushing so hard to kill physical media when they arguably need it the most
Movies/shows aren’t ditching blu-rays, music isn’t getting rid of CDs/vinyls, yet games, the medium with by far the highest barrier of preservation says “nah fuck em”
I love this timeline where bad guys feel so cosy that they just tell us all what their evil plan is, well in advance.
And so many people are so quick to defend them. I guess y'all never even liked downloading your game locally, huh?

This is such an overly cringe way to talk about the game, this is why Rockstar gets away with so much shit because you got idiots like this saying stupid shit like this 😭😭😭
@videogamedeals Physical because I like owning the tangible disc/card and also because I have a bandwidth cap on my internet and with games getting bigger and bigger I have to be careful not to hit that cap halfway through a month
Getting a PC has become so expensive due to data centers that fewer and fewer people can afford one.
And now we need cloud gaming to make gaming affordable again?
So data centers help make owning the hardware unaffordable, and the solution is to rent access to hardware in data centers instead?
You will own nothing and be Sam Altman?
This is good, but loading when warping both in OC and out is a bit slow and scrolling the cursor on the full sized map is oddly sluggish on S2.
Tbf tho, that's me comparing to PS5 where all that is super fast and smooth.
“Who cares if you download digitally, it’s all the same”
These are the CEOs we have in the gaming sphere? Nothing is art to them, it’s all just products to consume.
@FFXIV_NEWS_EN Any reason why on Switch 2 I'm not asked for my two factor code when logging in like I am on PC or PS5? Seems like a security oversight.
