Vien's attempt to retake Saigon is successful however the Northern front and Western front has fallen to NVA forces, and they are proceeding to Saigon, the Majority of the SVA forces have now fallen and are concentrated in Saigon.

Truong troops are slowly being pushed back by NVA forces, Truong's forces are deploying mines to hold the North, it is for now successful in holding back NVA forces in the Northern front.

Phu, Nam, Troug and Minh have sent 10,000 troops each to the Western front in hope to relieve the surrounded troops. Additionally they have left their additional 2,500 troops to assist in holding their northern borders.

The NVA announced Khiem to become the honourable chairman of the People's Republic of Vietnam, additionally Khiem has requested to be awarded title to be "hero of the people". The Viet Cong support this.

At request of Thieu a poll has been conducted on which ideology they prefer in South Vietnam. Shockingly, a majority of the country supports communism.

Viet Cong insurgents within Saigon have started attacking the remnants of the garrison within the city. 60,000 troops under Vien's command combined with 30,000 from both Minh and Phu are moving to break the siege diverting troops from Mekong river.

US is evacuating all diplomatic personnel and staff due to the current siege of Saigon. The Viet Cong have also publicly executed the US Air force pilot who was captured during a bombing run on the ho-chi-minh trail.

In light to General Khiem's move, the Western front of the SVA is now isolated and surrounded by NVA forces.
