400 healthy ostriches to die at the hands of the Canadian government.
If and when any of these birds tested positive for H5N1 - that was months ago.

This is the update in the British Columbia Universal Ostrich Farm case.

Canada Food Inspection Agency @InspectionCan issued an order to KILL nearly 400 HEALTHY ostriches in December 2024, on the fear that they might be infected with the Avian Flu.

That was December 2024.

Remember that date.

The farm took the "order to kill" to court and got an injunction preventing the implementation of the order to kill pending judicial review.

A judicial review of the CFIA's order was conducted and the day-before-yesterday, a Federal Court judge ratified the CFIA's order to kill because it was "reasonable" and "based on the evidence available at the time" (paraphrasing slightly).

NONE of he birds are currently sick.

NONE have been sick FOR MONTHS.

There is NO URGENCY.

There is NO BASIS for the kill.

The Court has authorized CFIA to implement it's order to cull (euphemism for SLAUGHTER) nearly 400 healthy ostriches, some of which have been in the family for over 30 years.

In that time, CFIA and its president, @CFIAPresACIA Paul MacKinnon - a government agency and government employee WITH GREY CHECKMARKS on X have protected the tweets FROM THEIR OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTS.

This is an OUTRAGE.

Stay peaceful, stay law-abiding, and make the biggest possible stink imaginable.

Public pressure is mounting.

Make this international news.

Put Canada on the world map for reasons that will shame that tyrannical government into doing the right thing.
