@garrytan Mission Bay rent in SF now just doubled.. I think we also need to do something there in sf too. Do not get me wrong. SF is getting wayyyy better than 3 years ago. But the rent situation really need some work too.

I’ve been observing cities based on those billboards lately.

The moment cross the tunnel from NJ to NYC, you saw three boards, bumble, gopuff and ripple.

When u go down 101 u’ll see all the AI companies.

For most of the cities I’ve traveled to in the last 3 months I saw lawyers, real estate agents and home services, day to day work, exciting but seems like every city is routinely following what they are in the last few decades.

The true portion of ppl/cities trying to change the world is actually pretty small. When u are looking at those billboards.

Spent the day in Michigan with a customer. GPS dropped me a mile from the airport 🤦‍♂️.

Some locals didn’t just point me the way — they DROVE me to the airport.

You don’t see this in SF. Already starting to love this place.
