@AutoPap Around town they really work. Long distance not so much. Went to Cornwall at the weekend, turned a 4h30 drive into 6hrs, queued at 2 chargers and it cost about the same in electric as my Range Rover would have in diesel.

@AutoPap I do wonder how this brand has such loyalty; so far you've had to correct the suspension, paint and tyres on a flagship car that you were "lucky" to have been allowed to buy.

@AutoPap Manufacturers are good at marketing their cars, the dealers are (generally) good at selling them. Vastly different skill sets are required.

@OxfordshireCC The only thing that's temporary about this is the cost. After a trial period you will declare it such a success that it's staying, and better still the cost will probably double.

@timharvey7 It's criminal really, I have a 100yr old business that I've owned for 16 years and I'm really struggling to keep it going. The thought of closing it feels like such a failure but it's soon going to be that or loose the family home.
