@CollegeHoopsTIk You just simply haven’t watched Illinois basketball play before yesterday. That’s clear. That’s how they played offense all season. And guess who had the most efficient offense all season? Illinois.
It’s not the same as the way Hurley runs his. They’re simply different.
@Jacobtheclipper@EdmondDantes251 He was obviously saying Illini got wide open shots that didn’t fall there way. Still will take those shots.
You’re comparing two different offenses. Hurley runs sets. Underwood plays 5 out. It’s different. Underwood had most efficient offense this year. Not wrong.
@WaglerMuse@takhtehchianmd I rate Ty. Just hasn’t played a college basketball game in 2 years. Jake Davis just started on a final four team.
great to have 7 guys who can score 20 points a game. Obviously. Wagler a once in a lifetime recruit. Not easy to replicate that.
@WaglerMuse@takhtehchianmd Jake Davis isn’t going to put up more than 5 points ever in a game. But he’s going to defend his ass off and crash every board. You need guys that are so bought into the program and willing to not be the guy if you want hardware.
The steal 80 feet from the rim yesterday.
@bradpierson@ChiSportsTweetr Boswell is one of the best guard defenders in CBB. You drop a big and have him go under the screen loses all advantage. Send the big up for the blitz force out of Blackwell and Boyds hands and make someone else beat us. They didn’t have Winter either. Horrible late game coaching.
@ChiSportsTweetr@bradpierson How Brad chose to defend rhe p&r is how and why we lost the game. They had only 2 players and we never tried to blitz once.
