Winter (Acquired by Crossmint)

Powering NFT infrastructure for hundreds of companies. Backed by @YCombinator, now part of @crossmint

🚨 Winter has been acquired by @crossmint!

I started Winter back in 2022. I knew crypto was hard to use. But I also knew more people wanted to get into crypto. (My mom asking me about “bitcoins” was a funny experience).

Back then, crypto and NFTs were still nascent, hard to use, and confusing. Companies like Coinbase were solving the buying of tokens part but no one was really solving buying of NFTs.

That’s where Winter (and Crossmint) came in.

I’ve been in touch with the Crossmint team and know all the great work they’ve done. We were tackling a lot of the same problems. After a while, we realized we could move 10x faster by combining. By joining forces to help some of the best companies move forward.

I’m proud of all the work we did at Winter and excited to see what comes next with Crossmint! 🙂

Most of all, I’m excited for customers - the quality of upcoming products is mind boggling.
