For the 22nd consecutive year, Wartburg College claimed the Combined All-Sports Championship Trophy, awarded to the conference's top overall athletic program, announced by the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) today.
The Knights also captured their 15th Triple Crown, highlighted by Wartburg’s 20th Marjorie Giles Women’s All-Sports Trophy and 27th Elmer Hertel Men’s All-Sports Trophy, while totaling 12 combined conference championships on the year.
Wartburg has won or shared all 22 of the conference Combined All-Sports Trophies, which began in 2002-03.

Wartburg College sophomore wrestler Jake Walker has been named the American Rivers Conference Male Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league.
Walker (Waverly, Iowa/Waverly-Shell Rock) improved to 10-2 on the season after earning a clutch 4-2 decision over No. 7-ranked Jonah Clark of Loras College, helping No. 1 Wartburg College secure its sixth consecutive American Rivers Conference title with a 26-6 win on Thursday.
Walker becomes the fifth-straight Knight to earn weekly A-R-C recognition.

Senior linebacker Keenan Tyler was named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® team, as announced Tuesday by the organization.
Tyler earned Second-Team Academic All-America recognition, becoming the 34th football student-athlete and the 141st overall student-athlete in Wartburg College history to receive the honor.
A native of Decorah, Iowa, Tyler posted a 3.60 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Business Administration. He was also selected to the 2025 American Rivers Conference All-Academic Team, part of a program and league-best 147 All-Academic honorees across all fall sports.
