#Chanyeol found fame as the Main Rapper, Vocalist and Visual Genius of the legendary, top-selling, history-making Group #EXO, who paved the way for many! Chanyeol was the last Exo member to be officially introduced to the public on February 23, 2012. He possesses a baritone singing voice and is an amazing All Round Entertainer, contributing greatly throughout the years to EXO's success and that of its sub units Exo-K and Exo-SC of which he's also a lead member! Chanyeol is a real Musician and can play the drums! #JasonMraz and #Eminem are his biggest influences, and also #Muse, #GreenDay & #Nirvana! He is also a very successful Soloist in his own right, and in 2014, he was featured in label-mate #Henry's 2nd EP and #ZhouMi's debut EP. In 2016, Chanyeol and R&B singer #Tinashe were featured in #Marshmello's song "Freal Luv". That same year he & #Punch collaborated on the OST, "Stay With Me", for tvN's drama 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God'. The song reached #3 on the Gaon Digital Chart in Korea. In 2018, Chanyeol & #Sehun released the collab "We Young", for SM Station X 0. In 2019, he released his first solo song "SSFW" and that same year, he and Sehun released their first EP 'What a Life' as the group's 2nd official sub-unit #ExoSC! In 2021, he appeared in 'The Box', a jukebox musical featuring songs from #Coldplay, #BillieEilish and #Pharrell among others. On August 28, 2024, Chanyeol released his first amazing EP 'Black Out' which topped iTunes Charts all around the world and reached #3 on the Circle Album chart in Korea, and was certified Platinum by the KMCA!

Chanyeol has starred in various television dramas and movies. In April 2015, he made his big screen debut in the South Korean film 'Salut d'Amour' and starred in 'So I Married an Anti-fan' in 2016, and 'Secret Queen Makers' in 2018!

Chanyeol is also an amazing songwriter, and in June 2015, he co-wrote with #Chen & #Lay, the Korean version of the track "Promise" from 'Love Me Right', the re-released version of Exo's second studio album. He later wrote the rap for "Lightsaber", Exo's promotional single for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', which was subsequently included in their third EP 'Sing for You'. He also wrote the rap for the Korean version of the track "Run" from Exo's 2nd EP 'Overdose'! In 2016, Chanyeol wrote and performed the rap for the song "Confession" from #Yesung's debut EP. He also co-wrote the lyrics for the track "Heaven" from Exo's 3rd studio album Ex'Act (2016)!

Chanyeol has won numerous awards as a group member of EXO but also as a solo artist including an Asia model Award, an aKKBox Music Award & an MNET award (Best OST) for his collab with Punch, "Stay With Me"! He also won 2 Korea Drama Awards, a Tencent Music Entertainment Award for Most Popular Overseas singer, a Top Chinese Music Award for Most Popular Foreign Idol and 2 YinYueTai VChart Awards, including Most Popular Artist!

Chanyeol is also a Fashion Icon and in 2020 became a Brand ambassador for Prada!
