@freau9 @andressaSUCKS @ThrowawayP46682 @Froggersdev Where did the developers say datapacks are not mods? Mods don't have to inject any code, they simply have to modify the game in a way. Terralith is a mod, it changes the world generation, doesn't matter that it uses official tools to do that.

@freau9 @andressaSUCKS @ThrowawayP46682 @Froggersdev Do you build a house in an IDE or a text editor? Datapacks cannot be created inside the game, all of it is done outside, that makes it a mod. If you were able to make a datapack in the game it would be a different story. Plus, datapacks allow for way more than commands.
