The #WFDA is the offical sponsor of the #WinterFieldDay event. All #AmateurRadio operators are invited to participate in this annual preparedness exercise. ❄️
Reaching out to us on X is the worst way to request support. Sadly, we do not get notified every time someone mentions or DMs us. We have no control over that. I'm not saying X is the worst site we're on, but it is the least good. Email us at [email protected] instead.

@LSRockIsland Be patient as you learn how to operate data modes. They take more effort to understand than you might think. Our discord has a good number of experienced data mode operators willing to help you. https://t.co/thHoFB8ICq
@LSRockIsland Absolutely. There's a program called fldigi that works on multiple operating systems and houses the majority of data modes in amateur radio.
It has a bit of a learning curve, but modes like PSK31 (shown as BPSK31 in fldigi) still have a fair amount of traffic.

@mwfoutch1 From the President of Winter field day, we don’t use FT8 because it does not pass proper emergency traffic. I know we’ve shared this out hundreds of times why we don’t use it.
We're reevaluating the location portion of the Winter Field Day exchange. Please choose what you'd prefer in the exchange and explain why in a reply. Thank you!
