O illiterate founder of Greece, the goddess Athena (a female) drives the entire story from start to finish. Her fingerprints are on every page.

The entire point of the story is that mortals, in spite of all their pride and greed, are the playthings of the gods and therefore must be humble and behave honorably or they will be punished. The male god Poseidon is the antagonist, and the hero is Athena, who repeatedly leads the otherwise helpless characters to resolution and peace.

People telling me that Christianity was never a peaceful religion are really just stating the obvious history of Christianity, but very conveniently leaving out the elephant in the room.

Every Abrahamic religion has been tainted and spread with blood all throughout history.

The difference is, two of the three have set a strong foundation of the principles and morality throughout history as empires rose and fell, in which the western world had eventually constitutionalized, and it's peoples have the luxury of living in today.
