@wheyh I went to Japan for the first time a few months ago. My feet are over 30cm, no slippers at museums or public spaces fit my feet. Is it okay to walk around in socks. No shoes inside is more common now in the UK but we don't wear slippers. Just socks.

@shiten_room I agree. Access is the biggest issue. Western fans are used to pirating manga. Publishers have to provide better or similar service to pirating. To buy manga officially you need to use lots of different services. When a series is in English, it can be difficult to find where.

@HillCitizen @fawfulfan @CommunityNotes You are confusing what "tax" is referring to here. Infra is largely funded property tax. The initial setup might get state or federal funding but maintenance has to be covered by property tax. Your income tax isnt used to fill potholes.
