@MrHustleMCR@MickWest@SpaceScienceGod If it's like a coin flip, the chances of 17 in a row are one in 131 072 - which I guess will happen to someone once in a while.
@Intelligen66639@andym5588@josemorgado Well, the real problem is that Draper is a really good player who just can't stay healthy and the ranking/seeding system doesn't have a solution for these kinds of cases. But draw luck is always going to be a part of tennis whatever you do anyway.
@ConsumeAsphalt@calebgamman That's absolutely right. And what's more, nothing's really worth saying to begin with when you get to the bottom of things.
@yellowpaintcat@calebgamman For entertainment purposes, and to make money, probably. People watch all kinds of shit for entertainment, as you may know.
@godin232@MickWest The thing about remote viewing and such is that though people often have anecdotal evidence that verifies to themselves that it's a real phenomenon, I have never heard of an actual scientific study showing any proof. If it was real, you'd think that it'd be verifiable by testing.
@JohnBel34148836@MickWest Like Mick implied, in double blind tests that have been conducted, self-proclaimed dowsers have not performed better than random chance.
@RalMart42699437@SC_MercyMainBTW@JJJ_SC6 It means these people think Siegfried is the easiest character to win with in lag. Not sure if actually #1, but lag does alleviate some of the character's weaknesses and boost his 50/50s etc.
@jchensor@FreedTMG@ArtificialHolly Both systems are of course here to stay, and it would be far more inconvenient to try to unite all FGs under one notation system than have new players face the issue of likely having to learn both if they play across different series of games.
@FreedTMG@jchensor@ArtificialHolly I think the numpad system is more elegant for notating than doing d, d/f, f etc. since it's faster with fewer symbols used and it's not tied to a particular language. Numpads becoming less common is an issue, but only a minor one since the system is trivial to memorize regardless
@Zen_801 The embedded comment seems akin to saying that Tekken players prefer Tekken because it's more Tekken than the games that are not.
What are the actual aspects in trad. Tekken that are unique to it? What comes to my mind is throws being an animation recognition reaction test. Idk
@tennis_insights@AnnaK_4ever 35% total return points won for Musetti doesn't seem correct... TennisAbstract has 40.6% for 2026, ATP gives same numbers (41%), and it's similar for last 52 weeks. Where did you get that 35% number?
