Because my first name is not that common in other parts of Germany, I've received quite a few "Frau Wiebke" e-mails in my life. Happy to report: I've just gotten my first Dr. Wiebke e-mail.
One of my students described in great detail why they could not reject the null hypothesis and I'm quite happy that they felt okay about that after a few frustration-filled office hours. I think they learned a lot more from this than they would have otherwise.
My email program just accidentally sent my out of office notification to everyone I've emailed in the past year. I'm very sorry, I just wanted to go on vacation, I did not mean to rubb it into anyone's face.
What you have all been waiting for: the preliminary programme for #ICAME42. Main announcement https://t.co/vT1IVL6rhT and pdf of schedule https://t.co/CmgGIUjnw2
