The #Cumbria councils have created a shared policy for the grants that currently excludes the professional services sector that includes many in the @wiredcumbria network from applying.
Today having engaged with council in Cumbria they have recognised this issue & will act to fix
.@WiredCumbria have been working to assist members of the #Cumbria#Digital#Creative & #Tech sector through this last few months.
Our latest actions are to ensure the sector can access the new Discretionary Business Grant Fund from councils across #Cumbria will launch 1st June..

There's been an important update in regards to grants and scheme pay for self employed people during the pandemic.
We were told HMRC would contact us in regards to scheme pay and grants if we were eligible, This has now changed.
