I miss watching Cardcaptor Sakura on TV in the living room in the middle of the day. I miss reading poetry on the balcony. I miss going out at night and walking in the cold until dawn. I miss the life I had before I was a shut-in.
@ilyjupiterchan You're a consistent blogger, one of the most insightful philosophical accounts, nice despite being funny, and make music that all my friends and I love, which is even better than being a Japanese artist whose pictures I only look at for a few seconds !! How could you be boring ??
I like small Twitter accounts that use the platform as an intimate diary or to blog about what they are up to, Japanese artists who only post pictures, a handful of insightful political/philosophical accounts, and a few outliers who are nice despite having a sense of humour.
This guy is mad at me because I didn't tell him I was leaving. How could he not realize he was the reason I left? I could have ignored him or blocked him, but I ghosted him (together with all my other friends on that account) to be polite. Perhaps he didn't deserve that courtesy.
A good person can say love isn't real, but someone who uses others or lets others use them can't. A monk can say life is worthless, but someone who works in advertising can't. A good poster can say social media is shallow, but someone who has never posted anything deep can't.
I hate it when I make a morally non-committed, rare observation concerning an isolated aspect, and people respond with generic counter-arguments regarding the general topic, forcing me to defend a position I don't even hold from their tedious, unimaginative, ignorant criticism.
Brain rot is a brain-rotted expression. I was trying to think of an alternative but couldn't come up with any. That's when you know a word has rotted your brain.
I chose this @ as a homage to two of my favourite posters, @/wiredphone and @TryingLonely2, but it isn't much of a tribute. This is the worst account I've ever had.
Most brain rot comes from accounts with an overly narrow or wide vocabulary who try to be funny by being relatable or esoteric, political accounts that I agree or disagree with, and age regressors who only do it because it excites them but possess an adult's heart.
I dreamt that the weather forecast predicted a tsunami. I boarded up the flat with my family but stayed outside. When I saw the wave cover distant buildings, I ran. I wanted it to kill me, but I ran too fast. I went into a temple and reached a dead end. I stared at the blank wall
@JillVallh72296 Thinking about how things relate to us makes us suffer. It leads to unfulfilled desires, insecurities, and anger. Certain drugs make you feel enlightened by suppressing all these negative emotions, but it isn't true enlightenment because it's artificial and temporary.
I think
I cope with the pain by binge-eating and watching True Crime videos about Korean cases. I want to fast, but I'm too weak. If I can't starve the pain, I must eat it. I wish Korean parents would make me conform to unreasonable social norms and that deviants would bully me to death.
I started a novella yesterday. I thought I would finish it in two days, but I read only eight pages in four hours. I wasn't distracted by other tabs. The text is simple, but I kept rereading the same lines. A proper reader would have finished it already. I hope I do better today.
@savemebpdgirl That's a great title, only three words! It never ceases to amaze me how much slightly unconventional wording can change a common statement—I lost hope—into something evocative—hope left me. Personifying hope makes the old pain of hopelessness seem fresh.
Perhaps Elise was hope..
