Safe and instant global-to-local settlement. Move international earnings to M-PESA through verified liquidity rails. Built for the Kenyan digital economy.
It's payday!
Quick question: as a #freelancer, are your clients sending bank transfers or stablecoins?
Curious to know what's faster/cheaper for you guys, & if cashing out your coins to M-PESA still gives you anxiety.

Imagine automated micro-payments routed instantly to African artists the second their work is utilized.
That is the kind of financial architecture we are focused on at WireMe. Great to be in the room for this.

This week we sat in on #UnfoldConversations hosted by @cr8vesgarage & @BritishCouncil.
The biggest takeaway from the panel on AI, African music, and IP: traditional copyright frameworks simply move too slow for the generative era.
When an AI samples a track or trains on grassroots art, tracking it is difficult, but paying for it shouldn't be.
If we apply the plumbing of global digital payments to the creative economy, automated smart contracts become the obvious fix.
Wrapping up the sprint last night at Fogo Gaucho was the perfect way to close this chapter before Ian heads back to Chicago.
The rails are set, the alignment is there and the energy is exactly where it needs to be.
On to the next phase. > https://t.co/mUeBGIkvMR
You can do all the video calls and async updates you want, but nothing beats sitting across a dinner table on a Sunday evening, talking through the future of payments while pulling up your own product, figuring out how to make it easier and more efficient for users to get paid however they want.
Beyond the engineering and the architecture, the biggest win from the last two weeks was just finding our rhythm as a team. Eating together, arguing over logic & troubleshooting in close quarters does something for team chemistry that a laptop screen just canโt replicate.
Thatโs where #stablecoins come in. They are the native currency for the AI economy, providing the real-time, T+0 settlement layer that autonomous systems need to function. The next-gen tech stack is being built right now, and the Silicon Savanna is driving the momentum. #AIEverythingKenya #GITEXKenya #WireMe
Great to have Davis Kithinji and Victor Munene representing WireMe at @AI_EverythingKE x #GITEXKENYA this week... clearly Nairobi is building the infrastructure and not just adopting to global tech.
But as we look at the future of AI in Africa, we have to talk about how these intelligent systems will actually #transact. AI agents can't rely on legacy banking rails that take days to clear. They need instant, programable and borderless value movement.
Congratulations on graduating from @btc_dada Cohort 9, and a huge shoutout to @marcelorraine for continuously building such high-impact communities for women in Web3.
The rails are ready, and we're lucky to have you driving operations.
Incredible milestone, Lydia Maina!
It has been amazing watching you jump into the ecosystem headfirst. Building the future of payments at WireMe requires a deep understanding of these rails, and your dedication to mastering the space is exactly what sets you apart.
Thatโs a wrap on Day 1 at #KBCC2026.
The sheer volume of high-level conversations today proves one thing: the demand for stable, verified settlement infrastructure in Kenya is massive. From regulators to fellow founders, the feedback on what weโre building at WireMe has been incredible.
The team is officially drained, but the momentum is high. We are just getting started.
See you all tomorrow for Day 2. @KBCC_01
At WireMe, we believe education is the foundation of mass adoption. If you can't explain the utility, you haven't built it right.
Stay tuned for the episode! #SokoChain#CryptoEducation#MassAdoption
Just wrapped up a quick snippet with Faith Nyambura for the @Sokochainafrica podcast.
The work they are doing is vital. They are focusing on the "non-crypto" audience, teaching people how to navigate this space without the jargon or the noise.
Seeing the ecosystem come together like this is what makes these events worth it. Huge respect to the work @btc_dada is doing to onboard and educate.
See you at the graduation, Lydia! #BitcoinDada#WomenInCrypto#KBCC2026
Day 1 of @KBCC_01 is underway! The energy at the ASK Dome is exactly what the ecosystem needs right now.
Weโre here to solve settlement friction for Africaโs digital workforce with verified, instant rails. No more bank delays. Come find the WireMe team on the floor.
