@WinslowLewis You're right! There is so much work put in these projects and I would love to see more host organizations wanting to be a part of capstone.
. @OxbowCenter Farm & Conservation Center, with support from EPA #EnviroEd grants, is teaching kindergarten students about food and the environment in the classroom, the schoolyard & on the farm. https://t.co/c5NJV896g4
Shoutout to @EPAnorthwest for being a great host organization! I always wanted to intern there and am so grateful to have had the opportunity to do so.
Here's a look into gold mining in Nevada. The comparison of production levels and releases to other states, especially Alaska, is surprising. https://t.co/5LdNqhMTBH
@wattTime's work on reducing carbon emissions from corporations has impacted the Toxics Release Inventory! Tracking #environmentalcompliance is advancing! Check out the article written by @drvox https://t.co/23hXd1O5eL
@maddyjanec I've never thought of this before, but I bet it makes a big difference! I think #efficientordering is also something individuals can adopt to lower their personal GHG emissions.
@JohnEricksen10 Very true! I also think more people need to recognize the value of learning from developing countries. We need to integrate smaller scale production within the food system if we want to be sustainable!
#MiningPollution can continue even after mines have shut down! These kinds of toxic releases are on such a large scale, which makes #WasteManagement techniques so important.

@ByambasurenEnk I never knew the value of our soils until someone told me about his book, Dirt: The Erosion of Civilizations. I also saw him featured on Sustainable, a climate change documentary on Netflix. I wish I would have been able to take a class of his!
