Last night, for the first time in a very long time (six months? A year?) I actually made time to write again.
Then this morning, I wrote a blog post about it: https://t.co/SP6I6lciAn
let's try this again!
It's #selflesspromosunday and we'd like to highlight the fabulous folks @AdventureDice Andrea and Blair! They are pillars of the #ttrpgcommunity and we love having them in studio for fun and games! also follow @AndreasAdv for their next charity event
I was honoured to be asked to be this year’s Participant of Hope at the @cancersociety Fraser Valley Relay For Life to share my story.
Thank you to my family and friends who came out to support me today, and to everyone who donated to this cause that’s close to my heart. 💛
This isn't how CASL works, Freshco.
1. I did not opt in to your newsletter.
2. Scene cannot transfer my Opt-In to you because I am a member of their membership program. THEY can email me about you yes, but you cannot.
3. Shopping in your store is not implied consent.
Hopefully WotC sees the light and actually brings the community into the discussion. Wanting to update a document is not a surprising thing, but not consulting the creators and community and people who sell your product is a big misstep.
Instead of harassing a small convention that is already struggling after three years of no in-person events, and whose owner’s other business could be majorly impacted by this, why not write to people who can directly make a difference? Air your grievances to WotC.
They tell you to be at the airport three hours before your flight, but the check in counter doesn’t open until 3 hours before…. So for those of us who hate to be late…. We have a wait. *sigh*
