@BabesweHunters burn the clothes, usakwate vanhu. people cherry pick traditions and only like the ones ane bag. or just tell them uchatanga wambopedza neN'anga yako wakawudzwa kuti pane hama yakauraya.
@JayJayTeamTruth@VMusinachirevo haaa, 20yrs from now all of this will be studied and people will laugh at how constitutions were ignored, how people would just pitch up and say whatever opinion they have and think it holds just coz they were defending their favourites.
State agents are going after our leadership in CDF. They raided Harare Province's Director Programs Paul Gorekore a few days ago, they beseiged Tendai Biti's offices 2 days ago and today they have raided Gilbert Bgwende's home. They have rammed an unpopular amendment on people and they are making sure our voices are muzzled but we will keep speaking up and mobilizing against this!
I’ve spent 8 agonizing hours dissecting the charges against Tafadzwa and I still cannot find the moment he allegedly "incited violence."
In Zimbabwe, what is the actual legal threshold for incitement of public violence? Does it require a call to arms, or is speaking truth to power for your community now enough to meet the bar?
@advocatemahere@adv_fulcrum@DougColtart – we urgently need your legal expertise to break this down. Where is the actus reus? What specific words or actions crossed the line?
@PoliceZimbabwe, we acknowledge you operate within the law. But to the watching public, this looks less like enforcing justice and more like using the statute book as a muzzle for those who refuse to stay silent about their communities.
If a young person can be charged for "incitement" without a single clear act of incitement then what exactly is the crime? The nation deserves clarity, not convenience.

How does a retired President who successfully won the maximum two terms permissible under his country’s constitution, which he left intact, and the country’s economy afloat, become a “washed up has-been”?
And this, coming from the spokesman of a President who came to office through a coup and whose most recent electoral heist was condemned by the SADC observer mission, and who is right now currently dismantling the constitution to extend his tenure without facing an election?
All this while the economy writhes, hospitals are incapacitated, and the elite around the President flaunt obscene, unexplained wealth, amidst growing poverty and misery?
It’s no surprise that you’d characterise retirement as being “washed up” - the prospect of it is a nightmare to your boss, but one which will be foisted on him by the people of Zimbabwe long before his dream of an extended term to 2030!
@mutami_susan@QldPolice lady, life iant fair and sometimes take that L and try and move on coz its not fair to start mentioning your kids being sexually assaulted and posting sex tapes on social media. if the guy drugged you and did all that withoit your consent, dafuq would he give you the video for???
The juxtaposition of Robert Mugabe speaking in 1962 about the liberation cry of “one man one vote” with the corrupt elite’s posters dismantling that cry is awkward to say the least.
