A Hindu family of four was found murdered inside their locked home in Rangpur, Bangladesh.
Police swiftly arrested two Hindu youths and presented a robbery/drug-related theory, but families and locals have raised serious questions over the evidence and crime scene.
With suspicions of a planned killing and an Islamist angle being debated, calls are growing for an independent investigation.

I am feeling deeply depressed today. The brutal annihilation of the entire Ganesh Chakraborty family is horrifying & yet, so far, not a single liberal, human-rights activist, or leftist has raised their voice in support of Hindus in Bangladesh.
His daughter was due to be married in just a few days. She was allegedly brutally raped, her eyes were gouged out, and acid was poured on her face. The sheer hatred and brutality directed against Hindus is deeply disturbing.
His wife too was raped and subjected to horrific torture. His 12-year-old son was forcibly circumcised. Ganesh himself was brutally killed.
Their only “crime” was that they were Hindus.
What makes this horror even more disturbing is the alleged treatment of the bodies after the killings—acid was reportedly poured over their faces before the bodies were dumped at the foot of the stairs.
The complete destruction of an entire Hindu family cannot simply be dismissed as an ordinary crime. If these reports are established, this would be a horrifying indictment of law and order, minority protection, and the failure of society to protect innocent human beings from communal violence.
Where are the voices that so loudly speak about human rights when the victims are Hindu?
Human rights cannot be selective. Outrage cannot depend on the religion of the victim. If you remain silent when an entire family is allegedly brutalised and killed because they are Hindu, that silence is not neutrality—it is hypocrisy.

An Indian Army soldier deployed along the LoC, Veer Bahadur Singh from Deoria, UP.
He made an emotional appeal for his elderly parents and sisters, alleging harassment by land mafias.
Despite letters sent twice by the Army, he says no action been taken.
"Should I serve the nation at the LoC or worry about my family's safety"

“I was told I can’t run a media house in Bengal": That’s when Arnab says he realised press freedom is no more in West Bengal. From threats of legal cases to the arrest of our reporter, @BanglaRepublic was built in the face of pressure, not by surrendering to it - "WE NEVER GAVE UP"

Testimony of a police officer’s daughter: My father was on duty at Jantar Mantar. He was almost lynched. He remained unconscious for hours. He was brought home drenched in blood. His attackers are now filing complaints against him.
The price of bravery in this country is blood.
Yet another horror story from a school in Jharkhand, that runs 44,376 schools. 9,627 of them are single teacher, 1951 function without electricity, 612 without functional toilets, 570 without drinking water, and 52 without buildings.
The education minister is @HemantSorenJMM.
It was a great decision by @narendramodi to reinstall in the rendition of Vande Mataram the sacred stanzas removed by Nehru on Jinnah’s demand.
We are not allowed to reclaim our land, our schools, our temples, even our festivals. At least we have reclaimed our song. My views:
FIR slapped against @ajeetbharti after he responded to derogatory remarks made against his sister. Draconian clauses of SC/ST Act 3(1) and BNS sections 196(1)(c) and 351(3), carrying jail time of up to 5 years, have deliberately been used.
Stay safe, Ajeet. We stand with you.
This is Victor Banerjee, one of India’s finest actors, known internationally for films like A Passage to India and Ghare Baire.
But long before the BJP became a political force in West Bengal, he chose to stand with it.
In 1991, when the state was under Left Front rule and the BJP had virtually no presence in Bengal, he contested the Lok Sabha election from Calcutta North West on a BJP ticket. He did so knowing there was no political wave to ride and little organisational machinery to support him. Doing so must’ve pissed off elites of Kolkata too.
Look at this video today. The diction, accent, articulation and sheer command of language.
Yet Congressi lapdogs keep claiming that BJP supporters and leaders are “uneducated” and “illiterate.”
Victor Banerjee’s legacy is a reminder: conviction and intellect were standing with the BJP in West Bengal long before it became fashionable.
In Puttur, Karnataka, fanatical elements assaulted a Hindu woman in broad daylight and then brazenly entered a police jeep, in the presence of police officers, to continue the attack. Such audacity exists only when criminals believe they enjoy political protection.
Mr. Kharge, you have completely failed to maintain law and order in Karnataka. Hindu women are being attacked, criminals are operating without fear, and the people of Karnataka are paying the price.
Criminals are getting protection from the Congress government. Cases against criminals are being withdrawn, and now citizens are suffering because of fanatical, anti-social and anti-national elements who believe they have the government's backing.
CM D.K. Shivakumar cannot escape responsibility. When criminals openly defy the police, it is a complete failure of your administration.

Is History Repeating Itself in West Bengal?

So, what is really happening?
•If West Bengal develops, Bangladesh could lose some of its importance in the international arena.
• When Haldia Port was being developed, the Ananda Bazar group and various Naxalite groups allegedly ran a campaign against Prafulla Sen.
• Prafulla Sen was portrayed as corrupt and eventually removed from power.
• He was widely regarded as an exceptionally honest Chief Minister.
• In his final years, he reportedly lived in extreme hardship and even depended on students for shelter and support.
Is history repeating itself?
• West Bengal is now building a deep-sea port unlike any other such port in India.
• Once operational, it could reduce India's dependence on Sri Lanka and Singapore for maritime trade.
• It could also reduce Northeast India's dependence on Bangladesh.
• Is that why a campaign to malign Suvendu Adhikari has started?
• We admit that, for now, we have failed in our publicity and communication.
• But are we once again falling for propaganda from the Ananda Bazar group and other sections of the media?
• Are we repeating the same mistake that was allegedly made in the case of Prafulla Sen?
• History shows what happened to West Bengal after that.
• We must be careful not to repeat the same mistake again.

>Spent 9 years of his youth giving his everything to Congress and defending the party, only to get nothing in return.
>Then he spent another 9 years giving his 100% to BJP, defending it with more dedication than many of its own spokespersons, and still got nothing.
Now after a situation like this, anyone would probably be frustrated but he is smiling and saying that he now has to earn money to pay his rent.
It genuinely hurts to see hardworking guys lose despite giving their all. @Shehzad_Ind Good luck with whatever comes next bro.
On the day of the historic victory on 4th May, finally saw a smile on his face. He silently stood beside countless RW supporters who were sent legal notices by Mamata Banerjee's administration. Every time i approached him with such cases, he asked me to convey to them that the Party stands strongly with them and shall fight their cause.
Always calm, poised yet witty...that is @amitmalviya for you.
May Maa Durga always bless you in the days ahead and may you attain greater heights.
