Building a follow-up sequence today.
This is what most people don't see: while everyone talks about "automation," the real work is in the sequence design.
5 emails. Strategic gaps between sends. Different angle on every touch.

That pattern isn't random. It's intentional.
One email gives value. One asks questions to disqualify. One uses social proof. One admits they're busy. The last one is unambiguous.
Result: Non-responders become call-ready leads without sounding like spam.
You donโt need more leads. You need a pipeline.
Most businesses donโt have a lead problem.
They have a process problem.
Posting occasionally, sending random cold emails, or waiting for referrals isnโt a predictable sales strategy.
A healthy pipeline requires:
โ The right prospects
โ Targeted lead generation
โ Personalized outreach
โ Consistent follow-ups
โ A system that turns conversations into opportunities
Thatโs where I come in.
Stop trying to sound like a salesperson.
The moment your prospect feels like they're being โsold to,โ their guard goes up.
Instead of: โWe help companies increase revenueโฆโ
Try: โ how are you currently handling X?โ
One starts a pitch. The other starts a conversation.
Had an interview with recruiting agency earlier last week. Guess what?
Interview was going well and my @MTNNG network went off like completely
Rejoined minutes later and explained my reason. Got a rejection email same day after the interview citing the network stuff
I just weak
I'm genuinely tired of Nigeria.
I can't browse in peace after working so hard to make the money to buy the data.
And you still make me lose a $ paying remote opportunities, because your network is shit mind you I paid for it.

3 things Iโd do before sending a cold email:
1. Check what the prospect actually does.
2. Find a specific problem your offer can help with.
3. Give them a reason to care about your message now.
The goal isn't to make your email sound impressive.
The goal is to think:
Today marks the official nationwide kickoff of the presidential campaign for all political parties.
For Peter Obi, the ask is simple: give him four years, not eight. His ambition is not about clinging to power for eight years. It is about using four years to lay the foundation for a New Nigeria strong enough to outlive any one administration.
Four years of discipline, competence, accountability and purposeful leadership can change the direction of our country.
Today, the journey to laying the foundation for a New Nigeria begins.
